US Professional Dance Champion, Silvana Gallagher is known as one of the top professional Hustle and Theater Arts dancers in the country. Stephanie Risser began her dance training with Carolyn Trythall at what is now Lancaster School of Ballet, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. There she studied the Cecchetti Method of ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. After graduating from high school Stephanie attended the University of Hartford/School of the Hartford Ballet (now Dance Connecticut) BFA program, where she earned BFA in Dance Pedagogy and had the opportunity to work with Hartford Ballet. Stephanie returned to Lancaster where she taught for Lancaster School of Ballet and worked with Ballet Theater of Lancaster and also began her study of partner dancing.

She continued her ballroom training after she moved to Connecticut to teach at the School of Dance Connecticut. There she taught students from ages 3-15 and was the children’s rehearsal co-coordinator for Adam Miller’s production of The Nutcracker.

In 2002, she moved to Philadelphia, where she was the Founding Director and main instructor of Top Hat Dance Studio School of Ballet and a ballroom instructor for Top Hat Dance Studio for 3 years. Here after a short stint competing in International Latin she began competing professionally in hustle. Stephanie has also performed in many dinner shows at various competitions, including Disco America, International Hustle and Salsa Competition and New Year’s Extravaganza. After leaving Top Hat Stephanie started working at Dancesport Academy in Ardmore, where she continued her training with top professionals in the Ballroom and Latin world. Stephanie is proud to share her versatility and knowledge with all of her students.

Victor Colon has been dancing since childhood. Raised in Puerto Rico, Victor’s extensive background provides him knowledge of styles to include Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Bachata, and Cha-Cha. Victor has recently begun to expand his training to include Ballroom and Hustle as well. Victor’s classic style, elegance, and understanding of the natural island rhythms make him a perfect lead for students of any level.

A cheerful personality and high energy performance style has earned Victor the reputation of “The Entertainer” in Philadelphia. Victor began his career performing with Luna Negra, shortly after graduating from Penn State University with a B.S. in Engineering. Only eight months after joining Luna Negra, Victor became the director and choreographer of Luna Negra and La Luna Dance Studio in Bensalem, PA. In addition to his contributions at La Luna Dance Studio, Victor has taught and choreographed classes for adults and teens as well as routines performed at salsa congresses at Dance Crush in Vineland, NJ. Victor’s professional credits also include collaboration with Art In Motion and Living in Rhythm and several television appearances in PA, NJ and NY.

Victor has performed regularly in local venues such as Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar in the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ and Philadelphia locations as well as at several weddings, office parties, school functions and other private functions. Victor quickly earned recognition in the national salsa circuit by traveling extensively to perform and compete at Salsa Congresses in the USA and the Caribbean since 2006. In his first year of competition, Victor won the Philadelphia Salsa Congress 2006 and placed in the Semi Finals at the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress 2006. More recently, Victor finished in 5th place at the World Salsa Competitions 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada and 3rd at the Philadelphia Salsa Congress 2007.
